UQU Photography Support
UQIC has partnered with Shaun Moon Photography to provide interim photography support for UQ Union–affiliated Clubs & Societies, until UQU Photography is restored.
This initiative is a goodwill support measure to keep clubs covered during the interim period, and to help protect clubs from being pushed into inflated pricing or restrictive “exclusive” arrangements.
No strings attached. No exclusivity. No contracts. No hidden fees.
What’s included:
Up to 8 hours of free photography per club (per year) during the interim period
The same C&S photography service Shaun Moon Photography has provided to the community for the last 8 years
Coverage for any UQ Union–affiliated Club/Society event

Importance Notice
We’re aware that some clubs have recently been approached with predatory “photography partnership” agreements that include intentionally misleading and fear-based clauses (for example, scary wording around “exclusivity”, “breach”, “penalties”, or “damages”) designed to pressure committees into signing quickly.
Based on a review of examples we’ve seen, these documents often do not create enforceable exclusivity arrangements in the way they claim, and the “breach” language is frequently drafted to intimidate rather than reflect a realistic or valid legal position.
